- Translators must hold a recognized degree in translation for a language combination
- You must submit which languages you qualify in if you have a qualification in French and English, you will not be eligible to receive quotes for Arabic to English
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in providing certified translations.
- Proven track record of handling complex and diverse translation projects.
- Comprehensive professional liability insurance with coverage of at least £1,000,000.
- Proof of insurance must be provided and kept up-to-date.
- Must have all necessary government approvals to provide certified translations.
- Provide documentation of compliance with any local, national, or international regulations.
- Implementation of a rigorous quality assurance process, including peer reviews and client feedback mechanisms.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide at least three professional references from clients or colleagues who can vouch for the quality and reliability of your translations.
- References must include contact information and details of the projects completed.
- Proficiency in using advanced translation tools and software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Secure and reliable systems for handling sensitive and confidential documents.
- You have an authorised Certification Stamp which will contain your registered number
- Adherence to a strict code of ethics, including confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality.
- Demonstrate compliance with all relevant data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the source and target languages.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality service.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service, including timely responses to inquiries and professional conduct at all times.
- Willingness to handle feedback and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
